response. JOB SUMMARY Title: Sr. Financial Analyst Managed CareJOB
DESCRIPTIONI. JOB SUMMARYThe Sr. Financial Analyst Managed Care
will provide financial impact analysis support for the Managed Care
department of Global Medical Response. This position will assist
the Managed Care team with the development and evaluation of
pricing proposals and the financial impact and profitability of
pricing negotiations. In addition, this position will be
responsible for maintenance of the contract database and reporting.
Other projects related to the financial performance of contracts
will include compiling data relating to payor claims behavior and
quarterly payor dashboard reporting. This position will work
primarily within Managed Care and will also work collaboratively
with various members of the Revenue Management, Accounting and
Finance team to assist with projects. This position will perform
all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with GMRs
mission, values, and professional standards.II.
QUALIFICATIONS---Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance,
Business, Healthcare Management, or related field from an
accredited college or university---Position requires a minimum of
four years of healthcare and financial analysis
experience.---Excellent communication skills, attention to detail,
analytical skills, ability to handle confidential information and
to balance time appropriately with multiple projects---Ability to
work with persons at all levels of the organization---Ability to
effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline
driven environment---High level of proficiency in PC applications,
including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook,
PowerPoint and Power BI preferred---Ability to work with minimal
supervision to accomplish and carry out
goals/objectives---Attention to detail, including thorough auditing
of data integrity---Ability to design and implement
discussion-ready, dashboards and reports to be used with internal
and external customers---Ability to handle ambiguous problems and
suggest pragmatic ways to solve ---Excellent written and verbal
communications skills - ability to interact with members of
multiple departments successfully---Strong working knowledge of
interpreting revenue cycle and claim data management, including
EOBs, denial codes and remark codes---Highly self-motivated and
proactive, with a strong drive to learn---A working knowledge of
the healthcare industry, insurance billing and third party
reimbursement requiredIII. DUTIES---Provide consultative support
and financial impact analysis of payor agreements and network
initiatives.---Provide routine standardized queries to support
managed care contract negotiations and payor relation
activities---Provide analytical support through advanced data
analysis and predictive modeling on current and prospective
contracted payor behavior on adherence to contractual requirements
including pricing, claim turnaround time, issue resolution
etc.---Generate and manage monthly and quarterly Managed Care
Dashboard and operational reports---Works cross-functionally and
supports achievement of revenue initiatives---Turn data into usable
information by telling the story through data
visualization---Perform drill-down analysis to identify medical
trends impacting revenue recognition---Travel on occasion to
various revenue cycle operations centers to interact with
management teamIV. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS---Reports to: Vice
President Managed Care---Interrelationships: Will also interact
with Managed Care Directors, CFO, Corporate Controller, SVP Revenue
Management, VP and Sr. Director Revenue Strategy and Analytics,
finance directors, revenue cycle management team, and other various
