Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to work as a
Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) serving students in
PreK through 6th grade within a K-12 school environment. Located in
the Fort Worth, Texas area, this contract role runs from January 5,
2026, through May 21, 2026, supporting one campus dedicated to
specialized instruction for children with hearing impairments. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support for
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students ranging from PreK to 6th grade.
Conduct evaluations and read/interpret audiograms to accurately
assess student needs. Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD)
meetings to collaborate on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Manage a caseload of students, providing tailored educational
services in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Coordinate with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure
comprehensive support. Desired Qualifications: Valid Deaf/Hard of
Hearing Teaching License issued by the Texas Education Agency
(TEA). Experience working within Texas school districts is
preferred, especially in school-based settings. Proven ability to
work effectively with young students and interdisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of audiological assessments and special
education processes. Work Schedule and Location: Position requires
on-site presence in the Mansfield area, Texas. Flexible full-time
or part-time schedule available, with 21-35 hours per week (7-hour
days), minimum 3 days up to 5 days per week. Benefits and Perks:
