RADAR Signal Processing & Algorithm Engineer. You will be the RADAR
Signal Processing Engineer for Lockheed Martin's team in Grand
Prairie, TX. Our team is at the forefront of Airborne RADAR
management, and you will play a key role in developing advanced
signal processing algorithms and creating high-fidelity simulation
environments. What You Will Be Doing The ideal candidate holds a
PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering and has experience designing
signal processing algorithms for RF applications such as RADAR and
wireless communications. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of the wireless channel and propagation effects
including path loss and multi-path propagation. Experience modeling
signal processing algorithms in MATLAB or Simulink is also
required. Hardware prototyping of signal processing algorithms
using software defined radios or RADARS such as the Ettus USRP is
also desired but not required. The candidate will be working with
senior engineers to design wireless communications datalinks and
RADAR systems for defense applications. RF and digital hardware
design principles will also be learned in the co-development of
signal processing algorithms deployed on datalink and RADAR
hardware. The candidate must be a US Citizen and have a Secret
security clearance with 5 year update OR possess the ability to

Engineering or other STEM degree. ?Thorough understanding of
digital signal processing (DSP) techniques for RF applications such
as RADAR, wireless communications, and software defined radios
(SDR) ?Understanding of wireless channel propagation effects

in complex arithmetic, linear algebra, and probability & statistics
?Proficient in modeling signal processing algorithms in MATLAB &

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
