        Job Summary:The Territory Manager typically manages 5 to 10 cafe units and is responsible for providing the leadership and development needed within their assigned territory. They staff our restaurants with highly effective and engaged management, maximizing the district's profitable revenue growth, meeting all operational and compliance standards, and delivering outstanding customer service.
        Supervisory Responsibilities:
        • Hires and trains cafe managers.
        • Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of cafe managers.
        • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
        • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
          Duties/Responsibilities:
          • Provides leadership to the assigned territory, overseeing all operations.
          • Collaborates with cafe managers to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers.
          • Develops a customer driven management culture that supports outstanding customer service.
          • Develops and maintains a sales focused climate, focusing on profitable growth.
          • Recruits, qualifies, selects, hires, and develops effective and engaged cafe managers.
          • Trains and coach's cafe managers to ensure they are confidently able to perform all job duties.
          • Implements progressive discipline to address deficiencies in performance or failure to adhere to company policies or regulatory requirements.
          • Develops and supports a high energy work climate that maximizes the potential of all cafe managers and exemplifies the brand's commitment to be a responsible citizen.
          • Demonstrates ABE's core values (Generosity, Growth, Integrity, Service, Results) while building high performing managers.
          • Partners with the HR Department to ensure all cafes are maintaining legal compliance and being proactive in addressing employee relation needs in the market.
          • Partners with the Training Department to achieve at least one certified training cafe.
          • Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
            • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
            • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
            • Excellent mathematical skills.
            • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
            • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
            • Thorough understanding of ABE's products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
            • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
            • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and driving history acceptable to the company.Education and Experience:
              • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; AND
              • Extensive experience in multi-unit restaurant or hospitality leadership role required.
              • Serve Safe Certification required (May be obtained post-employment)Physical Requirements:
                • Must be able to regularly and extensively travel throughout assigned territory.
                • Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
                • Must be able to stand on your feet up to 8 hours per day.
