it.Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range provided for
this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad
range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual
salary will be determined by factors including the scope,
complexity, and location of the role; the skills, education,
training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other
conditions of employment. Employees are also eligible for
performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our
comprehensive compensation and benefits program.Salary
Range$123,000.00 - $203,000.00Target Openings1What Is the
Opportunity?Under general direction, this position is responsible
for executing national and local claim strategies and ensuring
claim policies, procedures, and service standards are implemented
within the assigned line of business. Leadership responsibilities
include staff selection, training, development, performance
management, and compensation recommendations. This position manages
managers of managers. Travelers offers a hybrid work model

- Accountable for staff selection, training, and development to
ensure succession planning and talent retention.
- Manage staff performance; implement strategies for staff
development and provide regular feedback.
- Evaluate claim behaviors and develop strategies for
professional and managerial development.
- Identify and address training needs continuously.
- Collaborate with Unit Managers on compensation decisions.
- Model leadership to foster staff growth by sharing knowledge,
experience, and taking responsible risks.Provide Compelling Claim
Services:
- Employ proper claim handling techniques to uphold Travelers'
brand integrity and ensure consistent service quality.
- Drive local claim strategy execution through effective
communication and continuous improvement.
- Analyze claim data to identify business drivers and
trends.
- Work with leadership and claim teams to develop and implement
strategies.
- Guide and review claim files and behaviors.
- Align product quality with Claim Product strategy and
communicate Claim philosophies.
- Ensure successful service and product delivery.Drive the

- Leverage data and technology to support business strategies and

- Focus on resolution and process improvement to maximize
cost-effectiveness.
- Understand drivers, trends, and stress points to attract and

- Participate as a member of the local Executive Management

- Act as a liaison with claim partners and maintain productive

- Support marketing and sales efforts.
- Represent the company to ensure strong business relations and

Have?
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Skilled in coverage, liability, damages analysis, and familiar
with litigation processes and management.
- Understanding of marketing, underwriting, and account

- Minimum of 5 years insurance or financial industry
experience.
- Minimum of 2 years managing employees.
