ManagerDallas, TXSalaried / Full-TimeAbout the Role:The Vendor
Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing
relationships with our vendors to ensure optimal performance and
satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing vendor
accounts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with
company policies and standards. The successful candidate will work
closely with cross-functional teams to align vendor capabilities
with business needs, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, the Vendor Account Manager will analyze vendor
performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering a collaborative
environment that supports the company's growth and operational
excellence.Key Responsibilities:Customer & Broker Relationship
ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with
broker clients.Act as a key point of contact, responding promptly
to inquiries, concerns, and service requests.Ensure high levels of
broker and end-customer satisfaction through proactive
communication and service excellence.Sales & Revenue GrowthIdentify
new business opportunities within the broker network to drive
revenue growth.Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to
broker needs and market trends.Negotiate pricing and contract terms
to ensure mutual value and profitability.Waste Management
ExpertiseServe as a subject matter expert on food waste recycling
practices, regulatory compliance, and sustainability
initiatives.Provide brokers and their customers with
cost-effective, compliant waste management solutions.Stay current
on local, state, and federal waste regulations to ensure all
services are compliant.Operational CoordinationSupport the
onboarding process for new brokers and customers, ensuring a
seamless transition.Partner with operations teams to coordinate
waste pickup schedules, troubleshoot service issues, and improve
operational efficiency.Monitor and report on key performance
indicators (KPIs) to track program success.Broker EnablementEducate
and train brokers on Denali's services, policies, and operational
procedures.Provide ongoing support and resources to help brokers
succeed.Cultivate a collaborative and productive relationship with
each broker partner.Reporting & Industry EngagementPrepare regular
performance reports, insights, and presentations for internal and
external stakeholders.Represent Denali at industry events,
conferences, and networking opportunities.Continuously monitor
industry trends and best practices to stay ahead of the
curve.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in account management,
sales, or customer service, preferably in waste management,
logistics, or environmental services.Proven ability to build and
maintain client relationships.Strong communication, negotiation,
and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with waste industry
regulations and sustainability principles is a plus.Ability to
manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced
environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM
systems.Skills:The required skills for this role include strong
communication and negotiation abilities, which are essential for
building and maintaining vendor relationships. Analytical skills
are also crucial, as the Vendor Account Manager will need to assess
vendor performance data and identify trends. Problem-solving skills
will be utilized daily to address any issues that arise with
vendors, ensuring that solutions are implemented effectively.
Preferred skills, such as knowledge of contract law, will enhance
the candidate's ability to navigate complex agreements and ensure
