Vice President of Business Development HospitalArlington, TXOur client is a 430+ bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. Our client is proud to be a leader in Dallas/Fort worth healthcare with nearly 700 highly skilled physicians who represent a wide variety of medical specialties.Position Summary:As a member of the hospital's Executive team, this role has heavy influence into the overall strategic plan and business initiatives for a facility with over $400M in revenue, by directly leading a department of 5 employees. Monitors progress of business plan strategies. Initiates development projects in conjunction with business plan strategies and/or new opportunities that are identified after the business plan is finalized. The role focuses business growth and market strategies to enhance the level of service and physician availability in Arlington including Recruiting efforts, Physician Sales & Marketing, Strategic Plan Development, Employer relations, Marketing/Community Relations. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with organization mission and goals. Ensures patient/personal safety by maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and adhering to Safety Program and Infection Control Programs. Supports hospital and departmental Performance Improvement Goals. Contributes to the organization's three pillars of success: Exceptional Clinical Organization, Unparalleled Service Organization, Consistent Stewardship. Assures quality care through compliance with department and hospital policies and external regulatory agencies.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree required.
• MBA/MHA preferred.Experience:
  
  • 5+ Years of management experience in Healthcare with Business development/sales background (responsible for revenue line of hospital and can lead).
