Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: House Supervisor - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 52 weeks - 39 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract House Supervisor LOCATION: Dallas, Texas SPECIALTY/DEPARTMENT: Hospital wide SHIFT/SCHEDULE: nights including weekends, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.; three shifts a week Job Summary You'll work closely with management. Plan, steer, and coordinate daily tasks in nursing service administration. Create policies and procedures to achieve department prioritise . Essential Functions of the Role You will manage and oversee daily business and administrative operations with an emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Guide and teach your team. Ensure compliance with regulations. You are expected to apply Lean methods to enhance practice and patient care. You'll help plan the staffing budget, as well as the equipment and expense budget for the year. You must update staff on patients, especially those in critical condition. Report staffing and unexpected events. You will build good relationships with department staff, patients' families, doctors, and external groups. This helps with communication, problem-solving, and improving patient care quality. Prepare reports, maintain records and files, and manage equipment and inventory. Also, maintain a database for generating reports when needed. Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing At least (3) three years of relevant experience in the nursing field Registered Nurse Have Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support accreditation. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
