Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Trauma ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a 30-bed unit located on 3rd floor C Tower /n• Patient ratios: 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for PCU /n• Work with critical care equipment, burn ICU and trauma ICU technology /n• Use Meditech electronic medical record system /n• Required to work 2 weekends per pay period /n• May float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any PCU unit /n• Perform typical procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP /n• Must have trauma, burn, and surgical ICU experience /n• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required /n• BSN and CCRN certification preferred /n• Team-based environment where asking questions and helping others is encouraged /n• Required certification: RN license /n• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive trauma and burn ICU with 30 beds and a team of 85 staff members.
