Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Allen, TX Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Join our dynamic and compassionate team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician, where your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of women through comprehensive, full-scope outpatient care and gynecological surgeries. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a friendly, collaborative environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting your work-life balance. In this position, you will provide outpatient obstetrical and gynecological care across multiple venues, including gynecological surgery. You’ll enjoy more days off than traditional practices and manageable call shifts, with backup call coverage provided by our OB/GYN team on a 1:4 schedule, plus a PRN pool for extended leave coverage. Our comprehensive care team—including LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, and specialists—ensures you have strong support to deliver top-tier care. The on-call responsibilities involve providing 24/7 emergency obstetric and gynecological services, managing labor, high-risk pregnancies, and complications such as bleeding, pain, and water breaking. Candidates must be comfortable performing DNCs, managing ectopic pregnancies, and conducting cesarean sections. Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) with surgical first assist training are encouraged to apply, as they are integral to deliveries at our facilities. Required Skills: Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Active Texas Medical License and Dedicated DEA Proficiency in handling deliveries, DNC, ectopic pregnancy, cesarean sections Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with gynecological surgery techniques Prior exposure to integrated tech platforms for patient engagement Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology Prior practice in similar healthcare settings preferred Other Requirements: Willingness to work a night shift schedule (19:00 – 07:00, 5 days per week) Ability to travel as needed; full travel, lodging, airfare, and car rental covered Compliance with all relevant licensure, certification, and hospital requirements This is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career within a supportive environment that values your expertise and well-being.
