Acute Care Physical Therapist PRN at Methodist Health System summary: Part-time (PRN) acute care physical therapist position providing evaluation, treatment planning, reassessment, and discharge planning for hospitalized patients within a multidisciplinary team at a 595?bed acute care teaching hospital. Requires a graduate degree in physical therapy, current BLS, a valid Texas PT license (or temporary), and at least one year of licensed PT experience. Emphasis on clear communication, collaboration, patient experience improvement, and professional growth in a high-acuity hospital setting. Hours of Work : 24 Days Of Week : all Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Physical Therapist PRN responsibility is to render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).
