Operations Shift Leader, NB - 14468*Tishomingo, OK - Gaming - Part Time 38*_Posted 3 days ago - - Apply before January 2, 2025_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Operations Shift Leader, NB to join our Tishomingo Gaming Operations team located at the Tishomingo Gaming working .*Summary:*Responsible for all gaming prize payout transactions during designated shift. Ensures compliance issues are met with all gaming regulations and internal policies and procedures are being followed.*Responsibilities:** Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types* Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner* Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made* Greets and engages with a smile* Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment* Maintains and promotes professionalism* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Cleans assigned area* Cleans and sweeps floors* Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms* May empty ash trays* Disposes of trash* May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks* Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas* Answers basic customer questions concerning gaming machines based on basic understanding of payout and machine operations* Initiates minor machine repair and maintenance such as changing paper in gaming machines, bill acceptor cleaning, ticket replacement, cabinet cleaning, etc.* Hourly jackpot and taxable prizes reports, including W2-G, 1099, Title 31 Multiple Transaction Logs and other gaming activity logs for jackpots, machine issues, traffic flow, etc.* Assists with orientation, special activities and training on specific procedures, tasks or equipment* Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely* Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required* Assists staff with accomplishing goals* Ensures staff stays in assigned areas* Investigates and resolves discrepancies* Resolves minor employee concerns* Communicates area performance and operational information to line of support* Approves/denies time off requests* Performs all other duties as assigned*Competencies:*Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral* Ensures compliance* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Works well within a team* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management* Keeps written records*Skills:*Essential:* Count lrg amts of cash by hand / with cash counting machines* Basic Computer skills* Perform minor repairs on gaming machines*Experience:*Essential:* 1 year directly related experience*Education:*Essential:* High School, GED or Equivalent*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position*Working Conditions:*Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Fast-paced* May work in loud or noisy areas* Noisy* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Communications written, verbal* May be required to assist individuals who are emotionally disturbed* Pass pre-employment drug test* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Standing up to 100% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Walking up to 100% of shift* May work day shift* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May be on-call* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shift#INDWork Location: In personby Jobble
