Job Description:
Marriott International, a global leader in hospitality with
properties in 139 countries, is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook III
to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Pastry Cook III, you will be
instrumental in creating exquisite pastry items that delight our
guests and uphold the Marriott standard of quality. This role
requires precision, creativity, and a passion for pastry arts,
ensuring every dessert leaving the kitchen is of the highest
quality. Prepare a wide variety of pastries, such as cakes,
cookies, pies, bread etc., following traditional and modern
recipes. Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to
ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting. Monitor
stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make
appropriate orders within budget. Check quality of material and
condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. Guide and
motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health
and safety standards. Proven experience with dough, batter, icing,
and pastry creams Strong baking and finishing skills Understanding
of food safety practices Excellent attention to detail and
creativity Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
