Our team is passionate about advocating for justice and ensuring that our clients' rights are protected.We are seeking a skilled and compassionate "Associate Immigration Attorney" to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, leadership skills, and experience in immigration law. This role involves overseeing a team of paralegals, representing clients in legal proceedings, and managing a diverse caseload.Key Responsibilities:-- Supervise a team of paralegals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.-- Coordinate with Senior Attorney on case strategy and complex legal issues.-- Review 20+ applications weekly before submission.-- Prepare for and attend Master Hearings, handling two to eight hearings weekly.-- Draft and file legal motions (e.g., Motions to Recalendar, Motions to Withdraw, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Terminate).-- Coordinate with DHS for joint motions as needed.-- Meet with clients to discuss updates, changes in strategy and challenges regarding their case.-- Represent clients during USCIS appointments.-- Conduct case reviews, monitor deadlines, and maintain daily communication with paralegals.Qualifications:-- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.-- Admission to, and in good standing with the bar in any state and/or Puerto Rico.-- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in immigration, removal proceedings, and deportation.-- Leadership and people management skills-- Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities-- Ability to multitask and manage high-volume caseloads-- Proficiency in legal software and tools-- Strong writing, reading, and comprehension skills-- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus-- Strong negotiation and mediation skills.We Offer:-- Medical (Firm covers 100% of employee-only premiums)-- Dental-- Vision-- 401K with 4% match-- Group Life Insurance-- Vol Life Insurance up to 500K-- Vol STD-- Group LTD-- Flex Spending Accounts-- Telemedicine (for all employees and dependents)-- Mental Heath assistance (all employees and dependents)-- 3 weeks accrued PTO-- $75 monthly health/wellness reimbursement (for gym, chiropractor, massage therapy, etc. up to employee)Assistance/reimbursement of CLE/Bar dues and feesCompensation details: 90000-100000 Yearly SalaryPIc426f6bd85f8-25660-37711925
