Description Special Procedures Technologist Work Schedule: Full-Time; (4) 10-Hour Shifts per Week with Rotating Call Location: Medical City Dallas Hospital Our medical team consists of more than 1,200 physicians, many of whom are recognized as the worlds best in their specialties.   • Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologist in Specials Radiology procedures.
  • Ensures Radiation safety.
  • Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting. Special Procedures Technologist Job Requirements:
    • ARRT required
    • ARRT(VI) or ARRT (VR) certification required within 6 months of completion of training. All training will be completed within 12 months of hire/transfer and will be under direct supervision of registered technologist.
    • MRT State of Texas
    • Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.
    • If current employee participating in a cross-training program, all training will be completed under direct supervision of registered technologist. Certification in alternate modality is required within 12 months of completion of training.
